Matt Church, Ecologist
Mr. Church received his B.S. in Environmental Economics, and M.S. in Rangeland Ecology & Watershed Management/Environment & Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming. As a rangeland ecologist with Lowham Walsh, Matt directs and conducts project work related to rangeland management.  He works in close coordination with State and Federal regulatory agencies and oil and gas industry members to develop reclamation plans for rangelands disturbed during resource development.  He has 6 years of experience conducting vegetation and habitat inventory, monitoring, and management, and ecological restoration and reclamation throughout the western U.S.  Coupled with a background in farming and ranching, Matt also has experience in livestock and grazing management and ranch economics. He has experience using ESRI GIS software to collect and analyze vegetation data and develop GIS maps and reports for the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).  He also has experience preparing native plant restoration Environmental Assessments and Categorical Exclusions for the BLM.
